From April 14th until May 19th, 2021 Caritas Cambodia and the local Church able to provide food assistance to 9,000 poor and vulnerable families affected by the global pandemic includes constructions workers, garment factory workers, garbage collector, Cyclo, and moto-dup groups, fisherman people whose living on a daily basis in different lockdown areas of Phnom Penh and Takhmao Town. Very much thanks to our Donors, Friends, and colleagues for your solidarity and kindness during this difficult moment. Our little actions are to reduce human suffering, protecting their rights, and lift-up the human dignity of the poor and needy.     In response to the current Covid 19 Situation of Cambodia, Caritas Cambodia and Local Catholic Church provide 4 million Masks and hygiene materials to local authorities, ministries, poorest communities, Parishes in Phnom Penh, Kandal, Kompong Cham, Battambang, Siem Reap, Sihanouk Ville, Takeo, Banteay Meanchey and some affected provinces to combat Corona Virus in the Kingdom. Inauguration of Sre Y Primary School located in Sre Y Village, Sangkat Romney, Sen Monorom city Mondulkiri province
 
Approximately 720 people include Teachers, students, parents, indigenous people in community protected area, ministry of Environment'staffs, the provincial department of education youth and sport and local authority are joining together in front of Sre Y primary school on this sunny morning. Everyone’s excitement was profound in the air; show as to hope and appreciated with new achievement in Sre Y school included a school and new resource center building with add the green school and sanitation concept with full equipment of solar water pump, standard toilet, Water Purification System and organic school vegetable gardening.
The Sre Y school is the perfect school is not only for learning Khmer language but include life skill through real practice in school and indigenous culture conservation and sharing the experience of communities. Sre Y Primary School located in Sre Y Village, Sangkat Romney, Sen Monorom city Mondulkiri province was officially inaugurated on 22nd January 2020 presided by H.E Say Sam Al, Minister of Ministry of Environment. The inauguration is part of the achievement carried out by Caritas Cambodia with the strong collaboration between the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Project under-supported by the German Government Development Program through Caritas Cambodia
