From April 14th until May 19th, 2021 Caritas Cambodia and the local Church able to provide food assistance to 9,000 poor and vulnerable families affected by the global pandemic includes constructions workers, garment factory workers, garbage collector, Cyclo, and moto-dup groups, fisherman people whose living on a daily basis in different lockdown areas of Phnom Penh and Takhmao Town. Very much thanks to our Donors, Friends, and colleagues for your solidarity and kindness during this difficult moment. Our little actions are to reduce human suffering, protecting their rights, and lift-up the human dignity of the poor and needy.     In response to the current Covid 19 Situation of Cambodia, Caritas Cambodia and Local Catholic Church provide 4 million Masks and hygiene materials to local authorities, ministries, poorest communities, Parishes in Phnom Penh, Kandal, Kompong Cham, Battambang, Siem Reap, Sihanouk Ville, Takeo, Banteay Meanchey and some affected provinces to combat Corona Virus in the Kingdom. Caritas Cambodia Helps out the Displaced People in Preah Vihear

Caritas Cambodia cooperated with National Committee for Disaster Management (NCDM), and provincial authority provided the humanitarian assistance to the 1,446 displaced families on 6th and 8th February 2011 in Choam Khsant and Kulen district, Preah Vihear province – about 70km from the Cambodian and Thai clash border -- where they have been settling in the evacuation camps in schools, pagodas and under the trees.

Caritas Germany Delegates Visits Caritas Cambodia’s Programs

Delegates from Caritas Germany were on a six day visit from 28 of November to 3 December to Caritas Cambodia’s programs in Kandal, Siem Reap, Battambang province and Phnom Penh. Mr. Kim Rattana, Executive Director and staffs of Caritas Cambodia welcomed the delegates and proceeded with their field visit to six programs. The delegates were accompanied by Ms. Ung Kim Oan, Mr. Yem Makara and Mr. Moeun Rithy from Caritas Cambodia.
